Kureha GmbH takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

 

The following gives an overview of what happens to your personal information when you use our website. Personal data is any data with which you could be personally identified (such as name, email address, phone number, etc.).

How your data is collected, stored, and how it is used and for what purposes.

  1. a) When visiting the website

When you visit our website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is automatically collected and stored until it is deleted automatically:

  • IP address of the requesting computer,
  • date and time of access,
  • name and URL of the retrieved file,
  • Website from which access is made (so-called "Referrer URL"),
  • the browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.

The data as described above will be processed by us for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a smooth connection of the website,
  • Ensuring comfortable use of our website,
  • Evaluation of system security and stability as well
  • For further administrative purposes.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sent. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest derives from the data collection purposes listed above. We will not use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your identity.

  1. b) By using our contact form or inquiries by E-Mail

There is a contact form on our web page which can be used to get in touch electronically. If you make use of this option, the data you provide will be transferred to and saved by us. This data includes:

At the time of sending the message the following data is also saved:

  1. a) IP address
  2. b) Date and time of sending the request

For the processing of the data, your consent will be obtained within the scope of the sending process and you will be referred to the data protection declaration. Alternatively, you can get in touch via the email address provided. In this case, the user's personal data transmitted with the email will be saved. In this connection, there is no forwarding of the data to third parties. The data is solely used for processing the conversation.

The legal grounds for data processing, in the case that consent is granted by you, are provided by Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR. The legal grounds for data processing, transferred as part of an email, are provided by Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. If the purpose of the email/mail contact is the performance of a contract, Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR provides additional legal grounds for processing.

The processing of personal data from the input screen solely serves us for contact purposes. In the case of contact being established by email, the required justified interests in the processing of the data are also included. Other personal data processed during the sending process serve to prevent misuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of our IT systems.

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to fulfil the purpose of its collection. This is the case for the personal data from the contact form input screen and that transferred by email if the respective conversation with you has been brought to a close. The conversation has been brought to a close if circumstances indicate that the relevant subject matter has been conclusively clarified.

You have the option at all times to revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data. Should you contact us via email, you can modify or completely revoke the storage of your personal data with immediate effect for the future at any time without providing any reasons. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued. This revocation can be sent to us by post, email (for address details etc. see Clause 1.2.), or in the form that was used when issuing the declaration of consent. Personal data stored during the establishment of contact is deleted in this case.

Cookies

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive and assigned to the browser that you are using and allow the site that sets the cookie to receive certain information. Cookies cannot run programs or transfer viruses to your computer. They serve to make the internet experience more user-friendly and effective overall.

We use transient and persistent Cookies.

Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. In particular, these include the session cookies. These store a so-called session ID, with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the common session. This will allow your computer to be recognised when you return to our website. Disclosure of your data to third parties

  1. a) Transmission of data to other controllers

Your personal data will only be transmitted by us to other third parties if this is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract, if we or the third party have a legitimate interest in passing on your data or if you have given consent to it. Kureha GmbH does not collect or collect any personal data that has been made available to us through our website in order to disclose or sell it to third parties for their marketing purposes or to use it for host mailings made on behalf of third parties.

  1. b) Transmission to service providers

We engage external service providers with tasks such as programming or data hosting. We have carefully selected these service providers and monitor them regularly, in particular their careful handling and safeguarding of the data stored with them. All service providers are obliged by us to confidentiality and compliance with legal requirements.

Legal grounds for Transmission

We will not transmit your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.

We only share your personal information with third parties if:

  • you have given express consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR
  • it is legally permissible according to Art. 6 para. 1 S.1 lit. b GDPR and it is required for the settlement of contractual relationships with you,
  • disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR is necessary for asserting, exercising or defending legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have a predominantly legitimate interest in not disclosing your data,
  • In the event that disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. c GDPR is a legal obligation.

Transfer to recipients outside the EEA

Kureha GmbH may also transfer personal information to recipients located outside the EEA in so-called Third countries (e.g. to our parent company in Japan). In this case, we ensure that the recipient has either an adequate level of data protection prior to distribution, e.g. due to a decision on adequacy of the EU Commission for the respective country under Article 45 par. 3 GDPR or based on the agreement of so-called EU Standard contractual clauses of the European Union (SCC) with the recipient according to Art. 46 para.2 lit. c GDPR or your consent to the disclosure or other exceptions according to Art. 49 GDPR.

You can obtain from us an overview of the recipients in third countries and a copy of the specific arrangements agreed to ensure the appropriate level of data protection. Please use the information under "controller".

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right:

  • in accordance with Art.15 GDPR, to request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you will be provided with information on the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been disclosed, the planned retention period, the right to rectification, deletion, limitation of processing or opposition, the existence of a The right to complain, the source of their data, if not collected from us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, where appropriate, significant information about their details;
  • in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, to immediately demand the correction of incorrect or to complete personal data stored with us;
  • in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, to demand the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing for the exercise of the right to freedom of speech and information, for the fulfillment of a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, exercise or defense of Legal claims is required;
  • to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data according to Art. 18 GDPR, as far as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you reject its deletion and we no longer need the data, but you assert this, Exercise or defense of legal claims or you have objected to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;

Analytics and third-party tools

Google Analytics

For the purpose of customizing and continually optimizing our pages, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter referred to as "Google").

Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. In this context, pseudonymised usage profiles are created and cookies are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website such as

  • used operating system,
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page),

Google Ads

We use "Google Ads" (formerly Google AdWords) on our website, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as "Google"). Google Ads enables us to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising material on external websites. This enables us to determine how successful individual advertising measures are. These advertising materials are delivered by Google via so-called "AdServer". For this purpose, we use so-called AdServer cookies, which can be used to measure certain parameters for measuring success, such as the display of ads or clicks by users. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Ads stores a cookie on your PC. These cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days. They should not be used to personally identify you. We ourselves do not collect and process any personal data in the advertising measures mentioned. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. Based on these evaluations, we can see which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising material, in particular we cannot identify the users based on this information. Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of Google Ads. To the best of our knowledge, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you have a Google user account and are registered, Google can assign the visit to your user account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that Google will find out and save your IP address.

We use Google Ads for marketing and optimization purposes, in particular to display relevant and interesting ads for you, to improve reports on campaign performance and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs. This is also our legitimate interest in the processing of the above data by the third party. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR.

You can prevent the installation of cookies by deleting existing cookies and deactivating the storage of cookies in the settings of your web browser. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of our website to their full extent. The storage of cookies can also be prevented by setting your web browser so that cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com" are blocked (https://www.google.de/settings/ads). Google Tag Manager

We use the Google Tag Manager from Google LLC on our website. (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). If you have your habitual residence in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) is the person responsible for your data. Technical and organizational security measures

We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or total loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

SSL or TLS encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and for the protection of the transmission of confidential content, such as the inquiries you send to us as the site operator. Retention periods
